eileen_molony 0 Posted December 30, 2002 Simple and beautiful, nice timing for light (if it is natural) Well exposed. Link to comment
will_wilson 0 Posted February 6, 2003 This shot has power. I would suggest however a PS trick or two to focus the image a bit more. First the circle on the wall in the bottom right of the frame. . . clone that away please. I might also do a little more dodging and burning, again thinking towards focusing the viewer into the photo. Love your work. Link to comment
markus_maien 0 Posted April 2, 2004 I like the photo very much. I agree on the dodging and burning part, but I have a question regrading the suggestion to clone the circle on the wall away. When I went through PJ school they were very strict regarding the use of the clone tool. Basically saying that would be considered altering the photo and turning it into illustrative art. Any thoughts? Link to comment
beepy 0 Posted June 22, 2004 Love your carelessly executed folder - this one stood out for me. Maybe a better word is carefree? The pics seem spontaneous, fresh, unposed, but classic in B+W. Link to comment
jon w. 0 Posted July 21, 2004 Paris, France? An atypical Beau shot in an atypical place. Surely a story behind this one - but maybe a private one, from the city of lovers. Link to comment
beau 1664876222 1 Posted July 21, 2004 Jonathan, Yeah, this is an older picture. One of only two or three in my folders that wasn't done since late 2001. I never printed it until recently, though. That's why saving your negatives is a good idea -- your taste might improve later and you might find something that you overlooked before. On the taste point, the other images on this roll, having been shot by a 20-year old, are a little...um, unsuitable for publication. Link to comment
elenanetea 0 Posted December 4, 2004 i like this image, the lines, the soft eroticism Link to comment
straydog 0 Posted June 6, 2005 It works as most of Beau's work does. He doesn't live by other's rules and that's a good thing! Link to comment
