July 1st is a national holiday in Canada. Here in Montreal, Stevie Wonder gave a free concert to open the jazz festival last night. Today, the jazz festival continued with terrific music and atmosphere. Old Montreal with its cobblestones, cute stores and side-walk cafes were filled to the brim. This three wheel vehicle (made in Quebec I believe) was parked on the cobblestones of old Montreal much to the glee of the young man. I was lucky that his shirt was the same color as the vehicle. The weather was great and I took a number of candid shots - perhaps I will get the time to post one or two more. Thinking of the young man, I am trying to remember the last time I felt something like that - was it the acquisition of my D300 or was it when I first saw Star Wars and they put the ship into warp drive? Or ......? PS lens used was the sigma 10-20mm and the image is cropped.

Tony... The young boy is reflective of all of us "boys" with our toys. A humorous, but insightful capture where we can see ourselves... almost daily :-). Come to think of it, a neckline can provoke the same look sometimes, right? Excellent shot... Mike

Tony, it's great that you saw this situation developing and were able to catch the perfect moment! The purple of the woman's skirt contrasts well with the yellows, and I like the triangle of the three figures.
