drr 0 Posted August 14, 2009 Anthea, this is beautiful. I am so glad I found your collection. Wonderful stuff. And I usually skip flower pictures but yours display an exquisite sensitivity to beauty and the skill, via composition and handling of color, to share that with the viewer. These images are poetry. anthea50 24 Posted August 15, 2009 Yazeed - thanks for stopping by and for your kind comments! Roy - a special thanks for your impressions of my work to date - I'm glad you found my portfolio too....not because of your compliments, but because my work has evoked such feeling in you. Much appreciated. As photograpshers, we take our photo's based on what we 'see' and the desire to share that vision - and when others do 'see' what we see and appreciate the vision, it's pure joy! Thanks again - Anthea :) Link to comment
harlequin 0 Posted September 10, 2009 Very nice image. It is finding something new in an everyday picture that makes photograpy fun. You have done that with this shot. - Charles Link to comment
johnorban 0 Posted March 10, 2010 Great concept and execution, showing the tense, confining, and twisting nature of both fence and vine. Lighting and backgound are near perfect. Perhaps you could have increased the DOF a bit to keep the fence sharp while preserving that wonderful background. Cheers! Link to comment
