When a typhoon is coming

i'm back on this photo, that i rated some days ago, becouse the light.. it's so different from the light i normally see, that it seems a little bit unreal...unreal but well working. then, yesterday, here in rome there was an unusual sort of tiphoon (not so big, but i dont know the better word, for my english). somethoing that everybody colled tropical. weòll i saw a light similar to this one, and your photo comes at my mind. so, i liked to tell you this little history, and compliments

Terrific colours and superb atmosphere. For my taste, this is an outstanding image. Congrats.

This image fascinates me. I like the way the tones are enhanced and the sky is darkened. For whatever reasons, I sense doom; I think of the devastating tsunami a few years ago, and I imagine this could be a scene just prior to it occurring. In other words, this image really affects me emotionally, and that makes it unique and powerful.

I love the lighting and mood in this image; the way the white sand seems lit up and the sky so dark...I can almost smell the approaching storm in the air. Very well done. :)
