RickDB 10 Posted June 27, 2009 Apse of the Gothic Barcelona Cathedral - in the crypt beneath the main altar can be seen the alabaster sarcophagus of St. Eulalia, martyred in the 4th Century for her Christian beliefs. Handheld 3 exposure HDR (-3,-1, +1 EV). Link to comment
spenaloza 1 Posted June 27, 2009 Hi Rick, I am glad to see your beautiful work again, nice symmetry and contrast, good detail of the stained glasses, congratulations //Salvador Link to comment
RickDB 10 Posted June 30, 2009 ...for dropping by - I've been very impressed with the quality at high ISO on the 5D2, this one at 3200 would have been very poor on my old 20D! Cheers, RickDB Link to comment
aginbyte 0 Posted July 8, 2009 ... such a wonderful version. Did you do the HDR by "developing" three versions in Lightroom and then combining them? Well done. Link to comment
RickDB 10 Posted July 10, 2009 ...Handheld at 1/6, 1/25, 1/100s at f/5.6 - ISO 3200. CS4 won't accept altered exposures of the same shot for HDR merge like Photomatix. Amazing image quality for ISO3200! I did have the benefit of an iron railing dividing the chior and apse to lend stability - and I had to clone out only 2 people from the immediate foreground! There is also a tiny Romanesque "Capella de Santa Luchia" accessable from the Cloisters - very plain with a barrel vault ceiling, a place of silence and refuge from the boat loads (literally!) of visitors - to try and photograph it seemed inappropriate.
