Rajat,

I much prefer the desaturated image, but I have to say that there is something very funky on image right with her arm in this one...looks like bad pixelation or some kind of edit that didn't go smoothly...it's not in the other shots from what I can see.

Anyway...more comments on the other one.

this is an interesting documentary photo, reminds me of some images from a NG magazine, a simple but strong scene that says a lot, would be interesting to know more about the woman and her life but looking at her face and the background it becomes clear that her everyday reality is filled with hardship and toil. Tiredness dominates the emotions on her face but, which is a bit surprising, she seems to be reconciled to her fate and is patiently doing her job.

Imho hard life 2 ver 2 and ver 3 are much too dark, both versions have lost important details, especially around the woman's face and therefore the photos are more difficult to read and the dark parts may distract or even stop the viewer from getting to the subject matter. Hard life 1 also doesn't work for me as the horizontal format and the vignetting effect put more emphasis on the dish and make the context much narrower. Hard life 1 ver 1 lacks a little contrast and the lighter part of the background distracts my attention from the woman and her work. However I still think b&w would be more effective for this scene so this color version, which could probably convey the story best of all the versions here, may be a starting point to yet another conversion to b&w and further adjustments.

Let me say it again, this is a strong photograph, the woman was captured in a very good moment and her emotions and feelings are perfectly recorded. This is another photo when you Rajat show ordinary people and their jobs with noticeable care and respect. Such works have always the power to touch the viewer and provoke reflections. Thank you for sharing, regards -wm
