thadley 72 Posted June 28, 2009 Sometimes I hesitate to pass constructive comments since most people would like a "Beautiful image" and move on but I will step out on a limb bearing in mind that it is only an opinion. Firstly, I was attracted to this image for it's warm tones and a background that is uncluttered. I also like the composition that starts at the bottom left and works its way diagonally up towards the upper right side. With an image like this with all of the texture on the (lizard?), my preference would be to have as much of that as sharp as possible. of course if the light was low and you had to open the aperture, then then you would have less depth of Field (DOF). I would try to sharpen the image in photoshop to see if you can achieve it being less soft. Just an opinion, warm regards, I applied smart sharpen
sriram shankar gallery 0 Posted June 29, 2009 ...for taking time to provide a detailed feedback/suggestion. I appreciate it & value it. Your suggestion abt sharpening it is very valid & the sharpened version you've attached looks very good. Thanks again,Sriram
ezhilan 0 Posted June 29, 2009 The eye is expressive even though it is a lizard. Good selection and observation.
