loldhoff 0 Posted October 15, 2009 I love this Ellen. In my day-job I deal a lot with the Elderly myself. There is so much that is being said here. Alles goed? Met mij is het prima! :) Link to comment
jrickert 2 Posted November 9, 2009 of a sweet elderly lady. Many times the clutter in the background of photos detracts from the main subject, but I like it, because it shows something of the character of your friend. I agree with another commenter, I don't like what you did to the back wall. Overall a great photo. Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted November 24, 2009 Your shots are so 'cool' Ellen. I love the ones with the mice....this one in particular is very engaging. I'm very sorry I've not been over to visit and critique ....you have a great portfolio. I shall try to be a little more 'adept'.....my memory may be slowly going...but it isn't that bad yet! Cheers! mike_stemberg 40 Posted November 29, 2009 I'm glad I spotted your recent 'My Bear' image in the critique forum, because I backtracked to your portfolio (to check up on you :=) and found this! This is just marvellous! It's an appealing completely non-challenging image, just inviting participation and involvement with this lady and a part of her life. Talking about images that have or do not have a narrative, this image has it in buckets, or should I have said chapters? There is so much to absorb and ask and wonder about ~ that fridge, that old worn globe on top, those icons, those images on the wall, that small plate ~ what did she eat ? It seems the dining table is not much used for any formal dining, what with the chairs positioned as they are. Does the bird-cage live on that table? Were they just on there for show for you? Gasp! This is a complete book, in one image! Link to comment
