I would say the two versions convey two different moods. The untouched one is much stronger and arouse a feeling of concentrated devotion. I would say the tune is for his own ears only, and he is absolutely passionate with his creation. The manipulated version that you have presented here, with the lines in the background seems to communicate the music to everybody -the tune is scattered around. The musician is, as if performing on stage for appreciation, as it is more stylistic. Regards.

This is really a beautiful picture. Great plasticity of the figure perfectly drawn by the high contrast. The effect is powerful and I like the PS processing too, it evocates the dinamic "radiation" of music and it makes this picture unique. Would have rated 7/7.

The overlayed texture is wonderful, creating a rain-soaked somberness that befits the image.

Very beautiful work, I really like the tonality, lighting and the way you manipulated it. Congrats, Ludvik.

David, I like the whole idea of this - the artist in the rain, the music in the elements, the contest between man and nature. The whole flavor is enhanced by the graphic lighting which focuses our attention on the important elements highlighted in sharp light and shadow. Very well done!

Wonderful work, David. He projects such a power, and I love the muted tones and light use, which makes the base and his hand on the bow become most prominent.

I do prefer the unprocessed one, because I feel the filter impedes a closer inspection for me.
