A very fascinating view of a beautiful creation of nature, colorful clouds and their reflection bracketed by the rocks. The image of the aquatic life in the shallow sea is interesting and rather informative.

But what is the subject of the image? The view of the clouds gives a visual delight. The mind has no questions. The objects in the foreground challenge knowledge and arouse inquisitiveness. These do not have comparable aesthetical appeal. Both are not consistent with each other nor do they complement each other. The focus keeps shifting between the two, each negating the impact of the other.

Michael, many of the images in your portfolio are far more attractive for me than this one.

A very stunning sky. I would venture to think the starfish in the foreground is the subject, with the sky being a secondary. It's a bit of a juxtaposition with the secondary subject consistently pulling the eye from the foreground. Still a very pretty photo
