Anca,

She is an absolutely beautiful girl. I love her expression and soft eyes. The "texture" even looks good on this image. It dates it a bit -- makes it look a bit old. The composition is very good. The lighting looks good. Her catch lights are very good. The backlighting on her hair gives very nice highlights. She looks natural and relaxed.

I might have cropped a bit off the top. She has quite a bit of head room. The glare at her left elbow is a bit distracting, but at least is isn't very near her face.

Don't have her actually lean on her right hand. It makes her right shoulder rise. Her hand should be there for looks and balance only -- not to lean on.

If you had her turn her body at a bit of an angle to the camera it would look thinner, more feminine and graceful.

It is good to burn in the edges of a portrait. It helps to keep the viewer's eyes within the photograph. You do want the darkening of the edges to be apparent. It should be done subtly so that it does not draw attention to itself.

Nice shot,

Mark

Very nice portrait with great lighting. Her expression looks so natural. You used post-processing with great effect there. Congrat Anca!

Best Regards

Patrick

Lovely model, lovely warm tones. Reminds of some great Italian paintings. Curiously the two side (steel? Harbour?) elements that could be an awful distraction bring a sense of reality that add a bit of reality to the picture that could otherwise just be a nice studio shot.....
