F-111 Dump & Burn, Riverfire - Brisbane Australia 2001

This is a photo from Riverfire, Brisbane Australia in 2001. It is a

RAAF F-111 doing a low pass 'dump-and-burn' over the city after a

fireworks show had just ended. The scan isn't great quality at all,

but you should get a feel for the photo.

 

I believe the technical details are:

Canon 50mm f/1.8

F8, between 8-15 seconds (I can't remember now).

Fuji Reala

 

Any comments are appreciated. They didn't do the dump-and-burn this

year, but I do plan to go back next year and try to improve on what

I have.

I enjoy the quality of light, and the mood created by the clouds of smoke. The arc is a little bright, but that's offset by the rarity of your subject matter. Good timing - and exposure.
