smigliori 0 Posted June 14, 2009 Paolo, mi piace come hai trattato la luce ed il taglio che hai dato all'inquadratura. La posa del bambino (o bambina) è stupenda! Complimenti, bella foto. Stefano. --------------------------- Paolo, I like how you dealt with the light and the cut that you gave to the frame. The laying of the child (or girl) is wonderful! Congratulations, beautiful photo. Stefano Link to comment

Link to comment
jill_rocker 1 Posted June 15, 2009 The scene in this shot is very sweet... I can think that this is so interesting for a little child... Great capture.. All my best, Jill Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 15, 2009 There are so many talented 'artists' on PN....I'm having trouble keeping up!!! This truly is a 'work of art' and allows us to 'peek in' and participate in this 'little one's world'...wonderful composition with masterful 'strokes'...congrats, Gail Link to comment

color 3 Posted June 16, 2009 Nice image. Good human interest and nice colors, but it would be nicer if the little girl's hair was not blurred. Maybe you could use a higher ISO in such light or a larger aperture to shorten the exposure time. Since you didn't list those values I can only guess what you used. Those are important factors in low light situations as this appears to be. IMHO cropping a little off the right would give a better composition too. Link to comment

bevip 0 Posted June 17, 2009 I want to thank you all for having given some of your time, this made me happy. To Chuck: Yes you are quite right in this picture there is little detail of the child and it is not perfect, I believe also to have cut too much wrong in having the upper frame of the theater. The data are: No stand-f4 T = 5, 5 ISO200. In that place I had the camera inside the bag I had no intention of making photos seen the limited light conditions, when suddenly I saw this picture I decided to shoot. the place was full of people and the magic has vanished in an instant.Thank you chuck for your opinions, you are welcome, you are all welcome. color 3 Posted June 17, 2009 I know there are those times that you have to shoot with your current settings and equipment or you don't get the shot. You got the shot. Good work. Link to comment

angelpeak 0 Posted June 17, 2009 This is a classic example of 'seizing the moment' and taking the picture despite difficulties with light, composition and other people etc. It is the content that matters here and not the rules of composition: You have captured the child's enthusiastic and inquisitve nature perfectly. Even the slight blur of the child's head accentuates the speed and eagerness as the child takes in the scene. All in all first class work. Regards, Tony. Link to comment
Alex 0 Posted June 18, 2009 Paolo this is trully a great shot. The lighting is fantastic and thte little girl make the picture priceless. Congratulations. Alex Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 19, 2009 The child looks like trying to enter the painting, and as a matter of fact looks like touching the magic and a part of it ...;-)) It looks a painting that tells a story of a world ,well lighted ,with active figures. I don't "blame" the child, it is interesting. You have well exposed it with nice lighting ( of yours), and the child is well placed on the frame. Nice work. Link to comment
