I love the composition - it feels as if her eyes instantly lock on to you. I'd rate this much higher, but I do have to agree about the depth of field. The tip of her nose appears nearly out of focus compared to the sharpness of her eyes. Overall well done though !

Great shot... Composition is very nice... Blacks are fabulous... I would love to see this image in black and white... It looks as if her face is just floating in total blackness... You have such a great style at capturing people's personalities...

I disagree on the DOF - only the eyes, and perhaps in this case I'd say also the lips, need be in sharp focus. However, the photo does appear to have spent perhaps a little too much time in Photoshop. Perhaps it's just some kind of jpeg artifact, but there appears to be some smoothing on her face that looks somewhat artificial, plus the black seems almost unnaturally pure. A striking photo in any case, with very captivating eyes.

I love the colour, red lips, dark eyes.
