t37traveler 0 Posted June 20, 2009 Interesting concept and execution. The poster edge treatment makes the figures look like cardboard cutouts in an exhibit and give them a very three-dimensional appearance. Very creative and well done as always! Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted June 23, 2009 Pierre: This is extraordinary on several different levels. First, there is the creativity that crafted this photograph. Second, the colors are brilliant and alive in their contrasts. Third, it conveys to us that we all, from time to time, race with ourselves. That is, we are often too hard on ourselves, too afraid of failure to settle for anything other than first place, and often too focused on winning to see that the race is meaningless. Bravo, my friend. michael Link to comment

steveshinn 0 Posted July 4, 2009 Inspired and very well done. I think every senior citizen, like me, should have copy posted in some conspicuous place. We used to say "Keep on truckin'" Yeah! Only comment might be to work on brightness a tiny bit. Link to comment

Donna Stavis 0 Posted July 5, 2009 Very funny. She doesn't quite seem to be on any firm around -- any of her -- I like the sky too -- like in movies, a bit of storm clouds to signal all is not well. Anyway, it's terrific Link to comment
dara 0 Posted July 6, 2009 Hi Pierre, I notice that the runners are one and the same person, but each time in a slightly different pose there is not one pose which has been repeated. Interesting colors, shapes in the back grounds (mountains) and dramatic sky. It is a image with meaning and originality. The overcomming of one self, striving/ working to get over your own weaknesses....regards Link to comment
