fred_vnoucek 0 Posted January 26, 2003 The pic would come out much better if it wouldn't be straightly downwards, obviously while swimming along that reef. Try to settle down (please without hurting the corals) and take that pic again on eye-evel. this would also avoid the cut-off of the big tube in the foreground and make a much better angle. u/w photography is just as other photography in two ways: uniqe shot in a split second, or shots where you have plenty of time, like that one, the tubes wouldn't run off :o) ... I am not that much in u/w photography, but hope that helped. Link to comment
john_chandler 0 Posted January 28, 2003 Michael. You will move beyond these kinds of shots soon but they are great shots to practice your aperture/shutter speed solutions. Great aperture for the coral but that choice burns out the butterfly fish. These are the challenges of the U/W Shutterbug. If you do not use a GN/distance equation to choose you aperture you may want to start. It is lots of fun and all a part of the challenge we all enjoy. Link to comment
