bob_dixon3 0 Posted June 11, 2009 Hey Tony... great shot mate...did you just amend the shadows or is it HDR? im doing a project on homeless people around the world, it started in my home town of Dublin and ive documented people in Singapore,Paris,Kracow,Melbourne,New York so far to date. its good to see someone else documenting such people as the general population (like the subjects in the background of your image)..turn the other way. Kind regards BoB Link to comment

blue-olympus 0 Posted June 12, 2009 Lovely Photoshop work, very nice colouring and clarity not forgetting the actual scene itself. You seem to have mastered the wide angle lens very well as I see no signs of distortion...regards Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 14, 2009 sometimes over processing just does not work an it becomes a lost image but you have managed to process it to the extreme without going over the top great work! Link to comment

Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted October 19, 2010 Tony, This is a great social commentary. In addition to alcohol research the guy is sitting down for the "handicapped" (I hate that word.) He has his hand in cap. About the image, I love the sharpness and texture. All of the wrinkles on the clothes give the image three dimensionality. Nice work. Did he know you were taking the picture? Maybe you made a donation to the research cause, eh? The image reminds me of some of Ben Shahn's paintings. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted October 19, 2010 Many thanks to everyone and thank you Larry for commenting so that made me realize that I had not responded to the others who had comments. I engaged him in conversation and he had a story of why he needed money. I committed to give him some money if he would let me take some 'candid shots of him" to which he agreed. I took a couple of posed shots and then as time passed he was back into his routine with other people and that is when I got this shot. I eventually gave him a few dollars. Link to comment
