I am pretty new to photography and would greatly appreciate any pointers.

Love the lighting, but the top seems a little out of focus. maybe move back for the shot, and crop it a little afterwards, or take it with a smaller apperture to lessen the DOF? cool shot though

I agree with the top comment though, the top is a little bit out of focus. It is rather hard with abstracts because they have no "subject" so you don't really know what you're meant to focus your eyes on. So I think it is important to either have all in focus or just one particular area you meant for viewers to draw their eyes on.
