jenniferleigh 0 Posted June 3, 2009 I like the colors and the water droplets that you captured. My only issue with this one is that, I would like to see the left-hand side pedals in focus as well, because to me at least they seem close enough on the same plane as the right and doesn't make sense for them to be out of focus. This would also help that side's water droplets to pop like the right's. Link to comment
pcassity 14 Posted June 3, 2009 Thanks Jennifer. I agree. I thought for sure that f 8 was going to give me enough DOF. It's apparent I need to go much higher. Link to comment
manut 0 Posted June 4, 2009 Nice shot. I don't know why always there is a single stem that is without the seeds. Sorry for the terminology. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 4, 2009 Hi Pat....as for 'a single stem without seeds' nearly every Lily shot I have ever taken has had at least one stem withou seeds....they have to fall off some time......(?). as for your Photo....I really like it.....love your lighting, the pink is truly a lovley soft color...and the water droplets look great. I've found that if yyou have a bit of a prob with focus the odd time, the photo can be rescued a bit by addint a wee tint of color to the leaf and then also 'lasso' around the water droplet and got to levels and lighten it.....seems to work fine. good shot!!! very pretty!!
