I had never seen this type of bird until this year. I thought I was seeing

things.I have been in BC for three years. Now there is a whole flock that

comes to my front yard. Wow what amazing colours!

I am hoping to get an action shot before the disappear. Any advice would

be appreciated

Wow, Jill...congrats on the Evening Grosbeak. My only suggestion would be to keep shooting (for more great shots like this one) and maybe give it 1/3 to 2/3 +EC to open up the shadows a bit more.

Will Do Robert. I am hoping the (lettle birdies) will let me get a bit closer they are very skittish.
