rick vincent 1 Posted December 19, 2002 Survival of the fittest. Most impressive to me is that this spider had so cleverly camoflauged itself against the white petals of the flower. At the same time, the red stripes are likely attractive to the wasp. The image itself, I only wish were sharper and not so lacking of depth of field. Link to comment
fabio_repetto 0 Posted December 20, 2002 I agree about depth of field, unfortunately the combination of bad weather, inverted lens and, first of all, a strong wind was a difficult environment to make a good photo.I have different images but none has a great depsth of field, to get a decent shot i had to give my jacket to my girlfriend in order to have a sort of wind-stopper but it was very hard. I forgot: the wasp in the photo was dead, the spider was trying to take it against the wind. Link to comment
william_gracey 0 Posted December 21, 2002 This is just not sharp. It cries out for a tripod and cable release. Link to comment
michael_king4 0 Posted December 21, 2002 yet another bee on a flower picture... picture is also too out of focus Link to comment
alexander mcmillan 0 Posted December 21, 2002 A hard photo to take in the time needed, however, though a reasonable original image, the preditor is too out of focus to make this an excellent photo, even though I know it is very hard to take these close ups and have a good all round focus. I would suggest some work with photoshop7 on the preditor could make this a very good photo. Link to comment
