Nice job, I like it. The only caveat would be that style of background is getting a little dated (at least in my opinion).

I'd be interested to see a B&W version.

All in all a nice photo the subject of which should be very happy about.

I just had a global look at the pictures in this folder, and I decided to mention to you, that I felt this picture was the best in terms of lighting. But before writing it down, I asked my girlfriend (who was siting here next to me), which picture she prefered in terms of lighting. She picked this one as well. The reason she mentionned to justify her preference was exactly the one I had in mind : the model's face looks tri-dimentionnal here, due to the shadow between her ear and the chick. The other portraits in this folder - except for one of them - look a bit flat in my opinion, in terms of lighting : that's what often happens when there are two lights of more or less equal power and nature, coming from symetrically opposed directions, balancing each other and cancelling all shadows on both sides. My advice would be : switch only one light on at first, then place it perfectly before you even switch any second light on. Then, if you decide to work with a second lighting, try perhaps to place it in such a way, that you'd keep the volume, and to have a very specific function and reason for using this second light source. Best regards and thanks for your comment.
