Guest Guest Posted June 2, 2009 LOL......I guess we're always our own worst critic. I think there's plenty of detail here. Is it as sharp as some macros we view?...no, but it's still GOOD. I know what you mean about cameras Gail. Mine is good for what it is. Even though it does provide decent macros it's still not what I want (super sharp details of everything in view). Of course moving up to a Rebel, etc will be really difficult to learn. But I'd like to very soon. My real problem with a Rebel however is that it doesn't have a swivel LCD like my current camera has. In fact I don't think any of the DSLR's do. This is VERY crucial for someone who wears glasses as I do. Looking through a view finder is extremely hard for me. So it's not an easy decision..... Wish me luck. ;o) Don't know if this will get read but I think I'm talking about getting a SLR not a DSLR (which I guess my current camera is?). I confess my confusion on this. Anyone know what I mean? LOL Jo ;o) Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted September 12, 2009 Kathy, I'm so sorry I missed your comment earlier......I must check your portfolio to see if you got a different camera, as I think my brother had a Nikon that tilted out. And I think one of my Fuji SLR"s tilted also, but the LCD Screen was quite small.... From what I've read - to get a really good close up, and for maximum sharpness in focus, you really need a tripod. But when you're chasing bees around the garden...it's a bit tricky. I'll learn in time. tnks again for your kind comments....sincerely, Gail Link to comment
rjmelone 3 Posted March 7, 2013 Beautifully composed Gail! Love the color and how you can see through the bees wings. Link to comment
