kevin_kolosky 2 Posted February 25, 2001 Not bad Ken. Only thing I would say is that it might have been better to make this photograph with the sun at your back. His/her eyes are in too dark of a shadow from overhead light and a side light would have been more kind. Otherwise a nice shot. kevin Link to comment
michael_alexander3 0 Posted February 25, 2001 I know that birds will look into the sun, but I'm not sure about orangutans. Is there any way to tell which animals will look into the sun and which won't? If you don't want the eyes shaded, you might need an overcast day or animal could be in the shade. Link to comment
brian willis 0 Posted February 25, 2001 I like the image, but, as already said, the lighting is way off. Link to comment
robd 0 Posted February 25, 2001 A little fill flash would have taken care of the shadows around the eyes. Flash really isn't that hard to learn and can make all of the difference in the world. Link to comment
bob_jarman 0 Posted February 26, 2001 Pretty good, I don't know what lens you were using or how close your were, but a bit of fill flash to reemove some of the shadows around the eyes would have been nice. Link to comment
