Anything that reminds me of my childhood, my parents or grandparents, tangible memories of the past, makes me feel sentimental. Antiques also remind me of how much and how fast things have changed in my lifetime. I feel so nostalgic when I see old wringer washers. Some of these rusty old dinasaurs have real charm and character, just like us ;-) The colours and textures in rust is also facinating to me. Your bird cage with flowers sounds wonderful. That is a great idea! I see it in my imagination on a Cape Code stye veranda. Gordon, I agree. We see many of those old scrap heaps around hear. This is so much better. Thank you! Best wishes.
