I was unexpectedly allowed to take photographs here so did not have a

tripod. Thank God for .CR2 processing afterwards. Comments/critiques

welcomed.

Nice shot Mike and.... without tripod, great! The light is very well balanced and you've caught very well the details...without moving. Have you done it with a very high ISO?.. with this size we can't see a high noise. Congrats. Kind regards, Luis

Thank you George!

Luis, I have added the tech details if you check the 'Details' tab. I will also attach the 'straight out of the camera image now. Looking at the original now with fresh eyes, I feel I have completely over-processed it and in so doing completely threw away the real ambience of the light within. I think I will repost this image again with a more realistic end, with the emphasis on mood rather than detail. Thank you for your interest!

Mike,

Very interesting to look at. Good use of light.

Please feel free to comment/critique any of my Petersburg/Valley Forge photos.

Mike,

Beautiful image specially without a tripod. I would say it may look better somewhere between the original and the posted image. Still great work.

The moods of the two images are different. It is probably not true that the real mood is the only real one. The clarity and tones of the one you posted here is also very appreciable. You may probably turn the original one to a more dark and mysterious image, and that will be a different pic. Best wishes.
