Amrit, many thanks for your appreciation.Best regards.

Radu, there are many varieties of cockscombe flowers. The flower's name is suggestive of a rooster's comb.I have tried a black background. Does it works? Thank you very much for your suggestion.

With wonderful details, Dada!!

It sure looks great in black B/G!! Situation here in Ludhiana and whole of Punjab is very tensed. Curfew is imposed.

Best regards,

Lovely cockscombe, Amal. I like both versions. The forms, colors and DOF in the original image are unique. The black color works fine in the second version. The sharpness and exposure are perfect. High quality close-up. Congrats!

Very interesting flower/plant AK. The detail and clarity is awesome. It's great against the black background, but I prefer the original as I think the background is so condusive to the plant. Well done, my friend. Regards, Lawrence.

A.K. I like them both, its hard to pick just one. They both have their place, IMHO I think you should post both in their own place Steve

Very soft and lively photograph. You are really successful in capturing the wonders of nature. The original version is natural and the second one is dramatic. Both are beautiful and attractive. Best regards.

A lyrical shot indeed. The curves are like dancing arms and subtle changes in colour - all are beautiful. Great clarity and sharpness. I will go with the original post as it gives the feel of the atmosphere which is adding more meaning to the image. The one with black BG is also wonderful. Best regards.

"The flower's name is suggestive of a rooster's comb" - I am glad you clarified since my fertile mind was going down a very erotic path especially with the black background version. Very Well Done.
