I know from experience how difficult it can be to get a good photo of a cat.

Beautiful job! You have presented Izzi with that wonderful curious cat look which make him (her?) look so adorable. That innocent little face with wide eyed curiosity is bound to get into many future adventures. Your soft lighting, shallow depth of field, and plain background show you have good skills in photography. I am taking the privilege of adding this to my list of favorites.
