peter.blum 0 Posted May 27, 2009 Hi Chip, A stunningly beautiful image. The play of light with the varm, strong, yet gentle colors, makes it stand out. I alos like the cropping in this composition. With a very good sense of proportion. All in all, a little gem. And my compliments. All the best Peter Link to comment
brendan_trewartha 0 Posted May 27, 2009 One of the best shots like this I have seen, I especially like the directional lighting on the foreground and in the clouds. Link to comment

whydangle 0 Posted May 29, 2009 Wow Chip! This looks like the kind of image that you pre-visualize the day before and then it happens. The lupines are perfect; sharp with backlighting, even the leaves are glowing. My only observation is that it looks top heavy, could use a little off the top; maybe down to just above the highest cloud. I think the crepuscular effect would still be obvious, but the emphasis would be on the lupines. Very nice work (unlike Adamus, I give you a six for originality because you had to set this up with clever anticipation). Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted May 29, 2009 Guess the 16-35 was worth the money, huh? :) Wonderful control of flare, gorgeous backlight. However did you do it without HDR or exposure blending? Link to comment
kyle_h 0 Posted May 30, 2009 Impressive ! I like the composition and the vivid colors. Technically, it's almost perfect, very good exposure I would say. I wonder how u manage to do that. Good Job !! Link to comment
thistleandthat 1 Posted July 16, 2009 wow. i think the only way that this picture could be more perfect is if God himself were coming through the clouds..... Link to comment
