with the lighting a bit... can you see waht you can do about bringing out some blue sky and/or some light/definition to the stones and flags. right now the focus is the tree/light. I think you probably want the focus to be the headstones and flags... perhaps you could try a background blur as an alternative.

Thank you Jody. I appreciate and understand your point, but I was seeing this as a sort of pathway from the shadows of the stones to the light if you get my reference. Instead of highlighting the stones (which represent the buried past) I wanted to focus on the light, the promise beyond the grave. I wanted the eye to follow the line of head stones towards the light. Inspirational to the reward, hope and life beyond the grave. Maybe even seeing the tree as symbolic of the 'Tree of Life'. Thanks again. I hope I accomplished my vision for this photo or at least explained my vision. This is an important piece of work for me personally and I really appreciate your comments.
