uccemebug 0 Posted December 19, 2002 I made this by focussing on the branches in the immediate foreground, and used the spires and moon as a backdrop. It was taken at around 45 minutes after sundown. It's been suggested that I 'clone out' some of the church..... Link to comment
mark_smith12 0 Posted December 19, 2002 I like the black and white and overall compositional elements, but I don't like the background being out of focus. The branches frame the moon, drawing the eye there, especially with the church spires obscuring some of the branch, yet the subject seems to be out of focus. I think it would have been stronger without the church. In addition, I think an interesting picture would have been the church and moon alone, with the spires seeming to reach upwards to the moon. rachel k. 0 Posted December 20, 2002 This makes me a little dizzy. Perhaps if the focus was vice versa or if the church didn't look so chopped off it'd sit better with me. The gothic looking church with the cryptic branch and clear moon are good combos though. Link to comment
