Donna Stavis 0 Posted May 20, 2009 Potential is what attracts me to art, nature, aesthetics..,, so the theme of this photograph is exciting to me. But more than like, I also like the double view of partial faces, the shmutz (graphite) on his hand, the intelligent eye, and the repetition of what we see, how we see it with the reflection of his spectacles. A like your view of the world. Thank you for leaving the message in my portfolio with the mini photo as well. - Donna Link to comment
Link to comment
Davvero bravo. Stefano. Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted October 2, 2010 There are times when I see an image....and I feel as though I have stepped 'BACK IN TIME'. You have a great eye for COMPOSITON Giovanni and the MAGIC that makes an IMAGE COME TO LIFE.This image in particular has Just the right LIGHT, FACIAL TONES, DETAIL...yet a softness about it that gives a bit of a 'dreamy' effect. I especiall drawn to his 'HAND'. The 'graphite' pencils are among my favorites and although I have never been covered in so much graphite! His hand tells his STORY. He When it touches the page, every finger is his INSTRUMENT. I truly love this shot and your interpretation through your COMPOSITION.I visited Italy and 'fell in love with the country and the way of life' right away'. I was only 19 years old in my first JOB, but the HISTORY, ARCHITECTURE, AROMAS, and ATMOSPHERE of ROMANCE was something that I feel I ENHALED...............and I will never be complete until I visit again. I hope you can UNDERSTAND my ENGLISH........you have a wonderful PORTFOLIO...........................cheers & congrats! Gail Link to comment
