Desert rose, in a desert near Moab

I'd appreciate some comments to help me learn to be a better

photographer. This is (I think) a desert rose I came across while

hiking through random desert in Moab Utah in May of 1999. I was pretty

lucky with my timing as everything was in bloom.

I'd like to take a course at some point but in the mean time I think I

can learn a lot from critiquing.
