niranjn 0 Posted December 16, 2002 After a tire blew, my car slid off the road and rammed into a tree. I got out and surveyed the damage. Distraught, I walked a bit and took this picture. The colors and the weird saturation are because of the film, not PS. -Niranjan. Link to comment
jesse_jenkins1 0 Posted December 16, 2002 Your right about the colors. Shaded areas are almost purple in tone. Nice symmetry with the composition. I think the light is a bit harsh coming off the trees. Its just a little bit distracting. Overall its a good photo. Link to comment
bernhard 0 Posted December 17, 2002 Compositionwise it's good, technically it's apalling. There is no color that seems right, excessive contrast, little highlight detail and little shadow separation. But it gives a good impression about what you might have felt after the car crash ... Link to comment
glenn_polin 0 Posted December 19, 2002 Thirumale, you do get around. India and Alleghany. I love this picture. I think your chosen view and perspective is just wonderful. As for the color, I've played with it and don't think I can improve it, right off. To me it is a shape and form picture and the closer it gets to the elements , the more serious conversation an be had. I tried desaturating it in Photoshop and I liked the results much better. Its more about shapes and less about wierd colors. Link to comment
s_wan 0 Posted January 1, 2003 This scene is missing one smoking car wreck and user induced blurring to fully capture the events of that day :) Otherwise, I'm of the opinion that Agfa Ultra 50 should be banned. Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted January 27, 2003 Great background story, very well composed photo and an extremely good case in favour of taking that brand of Agfa off the market. Cheer up, Niranjan! Link to comment
