I'm probably going to reiterate comments other colleagues have made, but I have to comment, nonetheless. I see a man made of stone, representing someone whose emotions are totally closed off. He is walking away from the edge of the bridge, afraid or refusing to take the proverbial leap of faith. This goes hand in hand with his not being able to express his emotions. He's too afraid of taking any kind of risk, emotional or otherwise. The bird, on the other hand, is free, having no limitations except those imposed by nature itself. Flying close to the bridge, the bird is silently mocking the man's self-imposed imprisonment. Outstanding work. There is no other conclusion to reach. michael Link to comment
