rarmstrong 0 Posted May 16, 2009 Hello Ray! This one really stands out and I like it very much. I could imagine this framed on my office wall and I'm sure that I would enjoy it every time I viewed it. Nice work! Best regards, Dick Link to comment

rbanfield 0 Posted May 18, 2009 Thanks for all of your wonderful commnents on this shot. My Amigo, Leo, made some suggestions on the original and I went for most of them. Pushed the toning abit more so I might get a moonlight feeling. Actually shot at about 3-4 pm. Link to comment
shanm 0 Posted May 21, 2009 Nicey done Lefty....The sand is so smooth, and the trail adds so much, someone went for a long walk. Makes me want to just kick off my shoes and wiggle the toes. I like the tones in this one much better than the other version. Link to comment
cphilpott 0 Posted May 22, 2009 Oh yes Ray, making lemonaide, I like this one. The tones and curving lines work and well. I also like the tight skyline and high horizon, very effective. Link to comment
tonmestrom 4 Posted May 24, 2009 tha added drama works here especially given the somewhat soft foreground. The toning might be a bit too strong. Good composition though. Link to comment
jimgardner 0 Posted May 28, 2009 Great image. The footprints take your eye away into the darkness. Eerie. 6/6 Jim Link to comment
naturegirl99 0 Posted May 29, 2009 Very dramatic treatment, Ray, and effective! Nicely titled, as well. Good to hear from you! Thanks so much for the great comments you made on my spring woods image. Yes, it's been a wonderful spring. Spent the long weekend (ours is one week earlier than yours) in Pt. Pelee park, practicing mostly with birds as it's an important migration stop for them. Take care & have a great weekend, Nance Link to comment
chrisalmerini 0 Posted May 29, 2009 I am left thinking what is out there in the darkness? Great image! Link to comment
soniam 6 Posted June 5, 2009 great capture. I love the perspective and the colour tones here. the darkness and contraasts are very emotional. I feel as though I would be overwhelled if I went there. Superb work. Link to comment
kurt2006 0 Posted July 4, 2009 Raymond, thanks for sharing your road trip with everyone, this is very cool shot, the darkened horizon and lower edge really frame the composition perfectly. Have a safe trip. Link to comment
