i really need your opinion

I really like what you're trying to do with this image. The contrast, expression and composition all work well. However, I think it could be improved be in two ways - the sharpness of the woman's face and a slightly more natural pose of the hand.

dear Asha, I think you are right on both issues, especially the focus. I kinda like this photo-even beeing aware of the focus this photo kinda works for me, thats why i posted it, to see the reaction... thank you a zilion

This reminds me of some of the portraits made by Edward Weston in Mexico. I like the expression and lighting. The fringe at the top of the frame is a nice addition. I don't find the softness disturbing.
