I was late in acknowledging your birthday last year but now have my act in gear. One of our former Prime Ministers, Jean Chretien, had a thick French accent and a dubious command of the English language, especially in the area of pronounciation. On Canada Day, 1 July (which is equivalent to your 4 July) he would appear on TV and, with his hands raised as though to embrace the country, (Kinda like Nixon as he boarded the plane for the last time) he would say, "'Appy Bird Day Canada". So, from north of the border, I'd like to extend to you a wish for an 'Appy Bird Day and many more to come. Oh, yeh, this photo...........! Nicely composed souvenir shot for your album.
