richard1664879825 0 Posted May 14, 2009 Please don't just dismiss this as being too dark as I fine many people do. Imagine the image printed large, and lit softly. She is obviously sleeping in a darkened room, so it is underexposed as a deliberate effect. The image is not intended to stand out and be punchy, rather be a calm image. This image is one of two, the other is a young man trying to sleep in a cold wet shack, lit by blueish "moonlight". The aim was create a mood and evoke a sense of comfort in this, and a sense of discomfort in the other image. Also, another thing to note, is some browsers show my images yellower than intended, I'm not sure why. Link to comment
andrewcampbell 1 Posted May 14, 2009 I understand what you're saying, but a slightly higher level of contrast would add to the image's visual interest IMO. Excellent composition and mood nonetheless. Link to comment
