curt wiler 0 Posted December 15, 2002 Usually it is best to capture more of the trees and surroundings. That means shooting when there is more natural light, sometime in the twilight hour. Underexpose for the natural lighting by 1 - 2 stops (don't meter the lights). This will make the picture look entirely different, and the composition will look more like what you visualized.
