wieslawmamon 0 Posted May 15, 2009 thank you for the circumstances in which this work was taken, it must have taken a bit of patience to capture the right people in the right moment, the scene with the trio and the timing is really good, a lot of ideas have come to my mind - musicians going on a tour? film crew? or maybe ordinary people? The red jacket, the dark glasses, the suitcase, the haste which is easily noticeable make here an interesting and intriguing story open to interpretation. I think what you say is also very interesting, at least for me, for another reason. It is sometimes good fun to find interesting places and wait for 'the actors' to appear, to fill the frame in a perfect way and, in this way, create our ideal scene. We often go to the place with an idea about the actors and the scene, sometimes our patience is rewarded and we get what we want but usually reality brings a lot of unexpected guests who very often create 'narration' which we would never dream of. Don't know whether you had any expectations about the actors here but I don't think you had dreamt of such a trio to appear. Releasing the shutter while they were within the frame was by all means an excellent decision because they are great 'actors' who play a great scene. BTW, saying that I'd prefer the people to be a bit lower had of course in mind their placement in the composition, not their height:). Like this work a lot Andrea, thank you for sharing -wm Link to comment

dara 0 Posted May 16, 2009 Hello Andrea, a very well structured and composed shot, creative work. I find the use of the natural monochrome of the stone/concrete surroundings in contrast to the red blazer of the man's jacket very interesting it immediately draws the eye onto them....plus there is no conflict in colour between the clothes of the people walking.......Red Blazer very smart, very Italian :-) Ciao Link to comment

mark_q 0 Posted May 19, 2009 The partial desaturation of the photo seems to work well on this spacious scene, which I like as a wide-angle shooter myself. You had luck to capture these three people at perfect moment. Not alone they are connected to a group by the dark clothing and gear, but all they have that visually open posture on their step forward. Imagine having one of them on just one foot while the other leg bent at knee. Do you feel good in anticipating the moment to trigger the release button? Personally I should work on it, train myself more to get into following the rhythm of human walk. Link to comment
luis.miro 0 Posted May 20, 2009 When the eye becomes the most powerful tool! The composition is amazing, the work with the colors is very creative. You convey two worlds in one image, from the closer world we are watching how the life goes by in the farther world. You put us like spectators of the life. Clever and excellent work Andrea! Kind regards, Luis Link to comment
