Just practicing with my Nikon EM and Quantaray 70-300 lens. Also used

a 2x teleconverter. Focus is not quite optimal on this shot, but

isn't bad.

Cheap 70-300 zoom plus teleconverter? If the sharpness isn't to your satisfaction, I would sugest you consider your self lucky to have achieved a discernable image period. The shot itself is quite nice though.
