This is a very good portrait...wonderfully composed and excellent use of available light...I'm almost wondering if this is a composite, but based on your description it would seem not. Great choice for a B&W conversion. I really like the interplay between the highlights and shadows...just great...congrats.

This version feels more inviting. Steve is standing aside as if to lead the way into the old building. The other version is darker, perhaps more artistic perhaps functioning less as a portrait. I am very attracted to your mono-landscape work but am intrigued by your works with people. Steve is a good sport. My coworkers would never be serious long enough for me to focus. Cheers Gary.
