The Nana and the Baby.

A great people photo, but the faces are not properly exposed. There is a wealth of character and dignity in the face of Nana, and the boy is handsome, but the blown out highlight of the dress as well as the red flowers detract from that.

I feel inclined to agree with the previous comment about the dress. If, perhaps, this could be darkened in some way, then I feel the photo would be improved.

 

Both woman and child are indeed full of character, but for me, I do not feel the flowers detract from the picture, but provide a superb contrast to the individuals present. The sepia like effect gives an air of modest age (as does Nana!), and an elegance to the composition, yet the flowers add youth (like the child) and vigour....for me it is a perfect marriage - well done, and a good effort.

Dress is a little burned out on the Mother. Nice photo. Tones with the color POP is great combo.
