MJ,

She appears to have a very nice, shapely figure (With better make-up and expression I think she would be a very attractive girl) - Sharp focus - Very good contrast (You have detail in the dark areas and no blown highlights) - She is separated quite well from the background (she could use a little light on the back side of her hair to better separate that area from the background) - Her hands are posed nicely (slimming, feminine and graceful - showing their edges rather than the flat tops) - You have posed her well (you show off her feminine legs and arms gracefully with nice lines) Very nice highlights on her hair, boots and the car dashboard.

This photograph is in the Portrait Category. Where do your eyes immediately go when you look at this photograph? Her hands! (Not her face) There are many reasons for this: rule of thirds, leading lines and the lightest area in the photograph - Her expression does not warrant her eyes being closed (she just looks tired - not dreamy, sensual or contemplative) - She looks "squnched" (not a technical term - You have cut into her foot, bottom and hair - She needs more room!) - Your skin tones are really very nice (except that her hands are lighter than her face which draws attention away from her face) - She could use a little blush, lipstick or gloss and fingernail polish.

Her eyeshadow and outfit is that of a low-priced prostitute. Unless that is how she wants to be portrayed, I find this in poor taste. If it was her choice I would have included in your notes for this photograph so that viewers knew it was her decision and not yours. This speaks to your professionalism - Remember, this photograph is in the Portrait Category, not in the Street Photography or Documentary Photography categories.

The copyright symbol and your name are not part of this photograph. They belong on the mat.

You have done many things well,

Mark

Unusual shot.

There is a lot of pictures called "chick in the car", but this one is really something!

I like it a lot! Perhaps skin could be a bit darker, but just a small detail ;)
