robwilson 0 Posted May 4, 2009 Thank you Lawrence! They are magnificent animals, aren't they? I must admit that I can't think of a more beautiful animal on the planet than the tiger. I desperately hope that we don't lose this most remarkable creature forever. I am happy to say that Seoul zoo has 9 of these animals, who all look to be in tip top condition. It was a pleasure to spend time shooting them (with a camera!). Cheers Rob Link to comment

ron_west_photography 0 Posted May 4, 2011 I love the diminishing tigers. The on fault they had was that they are beautiful and powerful cats which some of the chinese culture believed would pass those powers to the human recipient.Your photo shows the beauty and the tragedy of this wonderful species of this beautiful animal on our planet. cguaimare 0 Posted May 4, 2011 Great picture Rob. Really beautiful. I would like to know... what lens did you use? Did you use a tripod? Link to comment
robwilson 0 Posted May 4, 2011 Hi Carlos, I shot this with an Olympus 100-300mm lens - which is 200-600mm in 35mm terms. I didn't use a tripod. It was a very bright, but overcast day, so excellent light for this! Thanks for the kind feedback!CheersRob Link to comment
