INTRODUCTION

Highly esteemed viewer you must take in consideration that this photo was taken in a shaded place through the window glass with a zoom lens f/4! No flash used, film speed 100ASA! Not to mention that the Canon AT-1 used doesn't expose automatically! Only has a built in match needle exposure meter!

Those were the days!

Scary. Proof that dolls have no souls. The one at the upper right, forever smiling at....nothing...is especially demonic.

Hi Pierre. Thank you for your comment on my photograph.

This is very striking picture. The caption is amusing, making use of the blank look on the face of the doll on the right. After the initial amusement, however, I started to find it a little disturbing. Dolls are pretty scary, and you have completely captured the dead-eyes expression that makes them so.

A great shot, with a lot to it.

Well done, JB

Reminds me a little of Dead Sparrow which I think might be the most insightful photo ever made.

back to your request

unlike most of the other comments, what strikes me about this image is that you successful captured it to feel as if I am sitting directly in front of the dolls, as a member of this zombie-like community. And I am therefore impressed that it was in fact shot through glass. Fabulous! Thanks for your comment on my photograph, greatly appreciated.

LOVE IT!

This image deserves more attention...It could be called Children Of The Stepford Wives...we just know that the minute we look away, they will begin their evil antics...One of your many best...Marjorie

I love this photo. I feel like I have been here before. Great find in a store window. Looks like they are waiting to come to life.

Cheers, Leora
