Thank You for the visits! PDE Critiques Pierre Dumas [Frequent poster] , May 15, 2007; 09:43 P.M. (edit | delete) INTRODUCTION Highly esteemed viewer you must take in consideration that this photo was taken in a shaded place through the window glass with a zoom lens f/4! No flash used, film speed 100ASA! Not to mention that the Canon AT-1 used doesn't expose automatically! Only has a built in match needle exposure meter! Those were the days! PDE Antanas Strazdas , May 16, 2007; 10:53 A.M. 6/6 Perfect mood and DOF, very good, original composition, best regards. Ivana Vostrakova [Frequent poster] , May 16, 2007; 03:47 P.M. All my best, Sylvie Pierre Dumas [Frequent poster] , May 18, 2007; 02:41 A.M. (edit | delete) Hey Sylvie! Welcome aboard! Thank you for your support! See you! PDE Jack McRitchie [subscriber] [Frequent poster] [Current POW Recipient] , May 18, 2007; 05:57 P.M. Scary. Proof that dolls have no souls. The one at the upper right, forever smiling at....nothing...is especially demonic. Joseph Tury [subscriber] [Frequent poster] , May 23, 2007; 10:27 P.M. Okay...I'm scared too! ha! Pierre Dumas [Frequent poster] , May 24, 2007; 04:04 A.M. (edit | delete) Ha, I didn't reply to Jack... ...because it didn't come to my mind your comment Giuseppe! (edit | delete) Welcome Ilze and thank you for your visit and comment! By the way, they are real dolls, not of porcelain and it wasn't just visit, ha! PDE John Buckley [subscriber] , June 03, 2008; 03:55 P.M. Hi Pierre. Thank you for your comment on my photograph. This is very striking picture. The caption is amusing, making use of the blank look on the face of the doll on the right. After the initial amusement, however, I started to find it a little disturbing. Dolls are pretty scary, and you have completely captured the dead-eyes expression that makes them so. A great shot, with a lot to it. Well done, JB amitava sengupta , June 06, 2008; 02:56 A.M. 6/6 SOMETHING BEYOND PARAFFIN,PLASTIC AND emotive... Meir Samel [subscriber] [Frequent poster] , June 06, 2008; 02:04 P.M. Reminds me a little of Dead Sparrow which I think might be the most insightful photo ever made. Yazira Helsley , June 27, 2008; 08:53 A.M. back to your request unlike most of the other comments, what strikes me about this image is that you successful captured it to feel as if I am sitting directly in front of the dolls, as a member of this zombie-like community. And I am therefore impressed that it was in fact shot through glass. Fabulous! Thanks for your comment on my photograph, greatly appreciated. Yully Sebayang [subscriber] , October 23, 2008; 09:43 A.M. LOVE IT! Marjorie Smith [subscriber] [Frequent poster] , November 30, 2008; 08:27 A.M. This image deserves more attention...It could be called Children Of The Stepford Wives...we just know that the minute we look away, they will begin their evil antics...One of your many best...Marjorie Contribute a critique Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted February 7, 2010 I love this; it reminds me of those "Real" housewives of Orange County! Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment
