Arch on the Edge of Light

Hiya All,

 

Just thought I would post a picture froma recent trip to Arches and

as for comments and critiques...

 

Photographer's Comments

I was at Delicate Arch two weeks ago Sunday and when I first got up

there it was totally gray. Clouds, no shadows nor any light... Me and

this other photographer were the onle ones up there at the time... We

decided to just wait it out and see what would happen. I think we

waited there about 1-2 hours till sunset... The sky looked promising

and we just sat and waited. It started to get a bit breezy up there

and cold. A few other photographer came up and waited with us for a

bit, but decided to bail out and leave. This is what happened when

the sun showed up just before it set. It seemed like it lasted a long

long time, but in reality it was only a few minutes.... Enjoy

Can't give high marks for originality (seen it about a bazillion times), but you did a very nice job of catching the light. Is it just me, or is the horizon tilted? Overall a very beautiful scene.
