waynemorgan 0 Posted December 11, 2002 Another title could have been "What you talkin bout?" Nice tight crop and another great expression! Good job! Link to comment
lisa_m._holley 0 Posted December 11, 2002 Wayne, thanks for the comment, and the title suggestion would definitely be another appropriate one! Link to comment
michael_ward1 0 Posted December 11, 2002 Lisa, Were you really as close as it seems here, or is this a cropped version? If you were really that close, the excellent exposure is remarkable. In any case the picture is well composed and well exposed. And the expression is priceless. Link to comment
lisa_m._holley 0 Posted December 11, 2002 Michael, this is the cropped version but I will upload the original and let me know your thoughts as to what I did with the shot. I tried to crop it as little as possible and I did not want to play with the level adjustments too much for fear of messing up a shot that I felt was probably one of the better ones I had. I was pretty close because I was trying to get some good close-up facial expressions. My Mom actually wanted me to move back because she was afraid I would get bit. I got bit by our pekingese, which was just like this one when I was 6, and she ripped my upper lip apart. But I have NO FEAR! I just stuck my face and camera in his and snapped the shot. Let me know what you think or this one versus the original. Thanks. Link to comment

1000wordsphotography 0 Posted December 13, 2002 Super! Taz is a great subject! This one is a classic "inquisitive puppy shot" and you've captured it just right! Your improving skills are really showing here. Link to comment
michael_ward1 0 Posted December 13, 2002 Lisa, Your treatment of this photo is excellent. You did just enough cropping to bring out the subject, and the levels adjustment was right on. I, though, would have cloned out that possessed devil cat. Link to comment
lisa_m._holley 0 Posted February 28, 2004 Good point on the focus of the eyes...I have looked at some other shots and I did miss this one a little. Thanks for noting that. Link to comment
