rod_melotte 0 Posted April 30, 2009 I'm just trying to decide if this photo has any value. One of those, "is it just me" things. Thoughts? comments? I'm not used to 8x10s as I like 8x12s but I had to crop . . stuff! Frame is just default black at the moment. TY Rod Link to comment
bonnici 0 Posted April 30, 2009 This is me being me.... There are too many stars on the flag is this was taken pre-1960. There were only 48 stars on the flag in 1930s. Link to comment
rod_melotte 0 Posted April 30, 2009 LOL - THAT IS FUNNY - reason is that these are actors that will be in Public Enemies the movie with Johnny Depp - I was involved in the movie and the current poster with Johnny Depp in Chicago has the same exact problem - too many stars. They put the flag in after they shot the photo. Link to comment
michaelx 0 Posted May 6, 2009 This is a stunning image - just don't look too closely at the flag! It is a fifty-star flag. In 1930, there were only 48 states. No worries, though - it's still a breathtaking image. Everything else about it looks authentic. The radiant colors give this image an eerie depth witch in 1930 could have only been accomplished via colored dyes on a print or an actual oil painting. This image is truly art for art sake. Well done. Link to comment
